Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
ScorpInvoice is provided by Scorpia Tech Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through the ScorpInvoice app and website, why, and how it’s handled. It applies to sole traders using ScorpInvoice to manage their own business (“you”), and to their clients whose details you enter into the app.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number.
- Business details: business name, bank account details for receiving payments, logo and signature images you upload.
- Client details you enter: name, email, phone number, for the purpose of sending invoices and quotes.
- Invoice and quote content: line items, amounts, dates, and payment status.
- Payment information: when a client pays an invoice, payment processors below handle card or bank details directly — we never see or store full card numbers or bank login credentials.
- Basic usage and device information needed to operate the app and diagnose faults.
Why we collect it
- To provide the core service: creating, sending, and tracking invoices and quotes.
- To process payments you or your clients make through the app.
- To send you automatic reminder emails on your behalf for overdue invoices, if you’re on a Pro plan.
- To manage your subscription (free or Pro) and enforce plan limits.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
Who we share it with
We use the following third-party processors to run ScorpInvoice. Each only receives the data it needs to perform its function:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
- Cloudflare — hosts the ScorpInvoice web application.
- Stripe — processes card payments, Open Banking (Pay by Bank) payments, and payouts.
- GoCardless — if you’ve connected it, processes Open Banking (Pay by Bank) payments and payouts as an alternative to Stripe.
- Resend — sends transactional and reminder emails on your behalf.
- RevenueCat — manages Pro subscription purchases and validates them with Apple/Google.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — process subscription payments if you subscribe via the mobile app.
We do not sell your data or your clients’ data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and invoicing data for as long as your account is active, so your invoice history remains available to you. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain financial records for longer to meet UK tax and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to ask us to export it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
